Susie's Strawberry Shake

Hey guys!

I want to share the delicious new healthy shake I just concocted in my Vitamix with you. I'm calling it Susie's Strawberry Shake : ) It's so easy to make and was very filling too. It's like a strawberry milkshake but without all the grossness that you get from dairy. No mucus, antibiotics, casein (the dangerous protein in dairy), or growth-hormones in this shake!

I always use all organic ingredients:My newest yummy creation...Susie's Strawberry Shake!

1 cup of Pacific Almond Milk

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

2 tablespoons of raw honey

1 large container of strawberries (about 20 strawberries)

7 ice cubes

*Put all ingredients in a blender and blend at high speed until smooth. Makes 3 cups which is  enough for two people.

Get creative and maybe add a banana, fresh coconut milk (from an organic young coconut), or a few fresh mint leaves!

For those of you with kids, this is an easy and fun recipe for you to teach them and explain how healthy all the ingredients are and why there's no milk in this shake.

Mmm, I could do with a cold glass of this right now! Looks deeeeelish. Never thought (or even knew) about Almond milk, thanks for the idea Susie ;-))

You're welcome Paul!

Sunflower seed milk is also great and healthy for you too. Try to get all nut and seed milks organic! The conventionally grown ones are irradiated and full of pesticides and other harmful chemicals that do not belong in the human body.

This recipe is delicious, and I appreciate your concerns for health, however, before you post potentially harmful comments toward the dairy industry, you should research milk and other dairy products more carefully, namely growth hormones and 'mucus', before speaking so strongly.
